Y-3 Kaiwa 'Lush Red'

Originating in 2002, the partnership between cutting edge designer Yohji Yamamoto and adidas continued with the release of the Y-3 Kaiwa 'Lush Red,' a deconstructed runner in red and black. The upper starts with a sock-like neoprene bootie and oversized tongue, all covered by a soft premium suede. Y-3 branding is embroidered on the tongue and also found on the heel and midfoot. Below, an EVA foam midsole features exaggerated rubber plugs for an eye-catching look.
