Contemporary artist and painter, Kehinde Wiley, teams up with sneaker giant, Puma, to create the Kehinde Wiley x Puma 917 Mid MAME sneaker. Created as part of Puma’s 'Africa' collection to commemorate the 2010 World Cup held in South Africa, the shoe pays homage to Wiley’s existing work by using one of his African-inspired designs as the pattern. The high-top design features a durable, canvas upper with a hook-and-loop strap around the ankle.
