In 2018, New York City-based boutique Opening Ceremony teamed up with Vans to create a bold look with the Opening Ceremony x Style 36 'Red Quilt Pack.' The silhouette's upper comes in canvas and leather, with a quilt-inspired take on Vans' classic checkerboard pattern in red. In an unusual move for the brand, the graphic extends past the upper through the midsole, stopping only for the gum rubber outsole.
