The original Tailwind from 1979 was the first model in Nike's history to include an encapsulated Air cushion in the midsole. Translating the OG elements of the ground-breaking silhouette, Nike revealed the women's Air Max Tailwind 7. The upper is constructed with transparent white mesh that reveals supportive midfoot caging. At the heel, perforations keep the foot cool while underfoot, a bulbous Air Max sole enhances cushion and color.
