NBA star Paul George was born in Palmdale, CA, also home to NASA's aeronautical research center. When George collaborated with Nike to reveal his signature shoe in January 2019 he said, 'This shoe is for the kids who want to fly, whether as professional athletes or astronauts.' The NASA x PG 3 EP 'Armstrong Building 703' pays homage to NASA's aircraft hangar of the same name. The space-inspired kicks come adorned with NASA detailing and Palmdale's 93552 area code.
