Mita x 247 'Tokyo Rat'

Japan’s mita sneakers partnered with New Balance to launch the 247 ‘Tokyo Rat’ in February 2017. The shoe’s moniker references the perpetually awake rodents who scurry in and around the streets of Tokyo at all hours of the day and night. Grey hairy suede construction on the quarter panel serves as another reference to the animal, while the custom graphic insoles, featuring mita sneakers and New Balance branding, depict a city scene by photographer Keita Suzuki.
