Air Max Plus

Sean McDowell found inspiration for his signature design while on vacation in Florida. After taking in the sight of palm trees at dusk, McDowell's sketches became the basis for the Nike Air Max Plus' iconic wavy upper. This black, white and Varsity Maize rendition was unveiled in 2006. The shoe includes the original's Tuned Air technology, which features varying pressures of air in targeted segments. Classic branding takes position at the tongue, sidewall, heel and midfoot shank.
