The Nike Air Max 95 Essential strips down the icon to bring emphasis to its human anatomy-inspired design. Introduced in August 2019, this Black Ice version updates the template in mesh with dual-textured leather and nubuck accents. Signature branding is reprised in the form of a Swoosh on the lateral counter, a split-colored tongue patch and heel embossing. Equipping visible Max Air units, the foam midsole rides an icy translucent rubber outsole.
