The Nike Air Max 1 debuted in 1987 and revolutionized the sneaker world forever with its visible Max Air cushioning. This model from 2004 updates the design to celebrate the 40th anniversary of astronaut Neil Armstrong's first steps on the moon. The metallic silver leather upper includes a texture inspired by the LEM (lunar excursion module) as well as the planet's surface, complemented by lightweight mesh panels.
